 What is the process for applying to the Concord Children’s Center?

An Open House for prospective families is held at the beginning of every calendar year. (You can check the Calendar to see when it will be held next.)

After attending the Open House, prospective families are encouraged to make an appointment for an optional visit to the Program of their choice. The half hour visits take place in the morning and may be arranged with the Program Director.

Occasionally children are enrolled during the year as space is available. To inquire about openings and obtain an application, please call us at 978-369-3747 or you may email a request to office@concordchildrenscenter.org.

 When do I fill out an application?

For continuing families, applications are distributed at the beginning of the calendar year and are due back a month later. Prospective families may fill out the application anytime after the Open House.

 Where do I send my application?

Please send your application to the Program you have chosen to the Program Director's attention.

 When will I be notified if my child has been accepted?

Families who have sent their applications in on time, will be notified that they have been accepted during the second week of March. (You can check the Calendar for this year's date.) If the Center is full at this point, children will be put on a waiting list and notified as space becomes available for the upcoming school year.

 When do I need to send my enrollment deposit and confirmation?

Enrollment deposits of $400.00 are due by March 31. For families accepted after this date the enrollment deposits are due upon acceptance.

 Who do I call with questions about enrollment?

You may call the Program Director with questions about enrollment; however, they will not be able to confirm the status of your enrollment until after the middle of March.

 What are the scheduling options available?

The Concord Children's Center offers a very flexible schedule to meet the variety of family needs. Parents may choose a schedule which varies between 3 mornings to 5 full days per week; however, hours must be the same week to week. There is a special enrollment policy for 4 year olds (the year prior to entering Kindergarten) of a four morning minimum. Each family should work out their schedule with their Program Director. Please refer to the Application or Tuition sheet for arrival and pickup time options.
